About Coach Josh Mower
Josh Mower has been coaching since 2013 across multiple platforms with athletes ranging from runners, strength & conditioning, and triathletes. Mower has earned experience coaching in training gyms, community recreation as well as a 5-year stint in collegiate coaching for distance runners among NCAA and NAIA athletes. As a college coach he has produced school record holders, conference champions and an All-American in the Marathon. Mower’s experience is compounded upon an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, a graduate degree in Kinesiology and a NASM Personal Trainer Certification. Having gained experience from many great coaching mentors such as Jack Daniels, Mower is proud to offer opportunities to others around him as his goal is solely to influence others to their peaks in performance. “My belief is that everyone can run and enjoy running whether their goal is competitive, recreational or social I want to be a part of your journey to lifelong participation and enjoyment in the sport.”
Mower’s running career began in 2006 having competed in Cross Country and Indoor/ Outdoor Track all 4 years of High school and all 4 years at Brevard College. This has led him to develop a life-long passion for the sport while continuing and improving in his running career. Mower still owns college records at his alma mater during their NCAA Division-2 era in the Mile, 3,000m, 3K Steeplechase, 5,000m and 10,000m.
